SEAN KELLEY | Creative Director

It’s no coincidence that countless sons of architects have gone on to become graphic designers, and Sean is no exception.

He sees this pattern as a manifestation of the evolution of cultural iconography. The story goes; cathedrals were the largest and most important buildings in the middle ages, the emphasis was given to factories in the industrial revolution, government institutions and then financial institutions took the reins in the 20th century, while data centers quickly become the new hub of an increasingly digitized world.

As homogenous fortresses of information become our most important structures, what happens to our culture? We can easily become more disconnected from natural cycles through our fascination with the digital age, but there is also an opportunity to evolve our way of thinking and living.

In Sean’s humble opinion, the designer is the modern day architect, molding our world through a vision and grounding that transcends fiber-optics and reconnects with the things that makes us human. The designer finds himself in an occupation that challenges the mind to avoid being merely “occupied” with the work. Sean accepts this challenge, and finds more similarities than differences with his father’s work.

While specializing in interactive media, he understands the tool is never as important as the idea. By seeking out and bringing together collaborative creative thinkers, Sean challenges clients to take the risks necessary to spread brand fever.
